Finn Comfort - BOLO Brand

I had never heard nor seen this brand until I found this cute pair of Chukka boots at a Goodwill by my work. I was doing a #thrift30challenge, which you can watch here, with some of the other resellers in the community when I spotted these in one of the shoe bins. When I looked up comps, I was surprised that these unassuming basic boots had regular solds on eBay between $60-$100.00!

Of course with any new brand that has such a high resell value, I did some research. Finn Comfort is as it’s name suggests a comfort brand, for walking. All of the shoes are manufactured in Germany using predominately natural materials like leather and cork. The pair of chukkas I found originally retailed for $345! This brand has an excellent sell through rate on both eBay and Poshmark, but you will have to wait a little to get the highest $.

The walking sandals resell in the $20-$50.00 pre-owned, but as I mentioned before the regular shoes and boots resell in the $60-$100.00+ range. Men’s shoes also sell for more money normally than the Women’s, but because of the size (6.5), I actually decided to list these as women’s (8.5). I was able to do this comfortably, because that’s my shoe size and I was just going to add these to my closet if they didn’t sell after a year. Sizing men’s to women’s isn’t always a direct 2 size difference, because different shoe manufacturers use different lasts, so be careful and you can normally find size comparisons on most quality shoe manufacturers sites.

This pair of chukkas took six months to sell, but sold at full asking of $75.00, and the buyer paid shipping. After fees, and original purchase price of $10.00, I made a total net profit of $50.00!
